The Windhoek Oktoberfest always takes place the last weekend in October. e. 27-28 October 2023.
The Windhoek Oktoberfest will be held at Sport Klub Windhoek (SKW), Wika street, Olympia, Windhoek on the big soccer field.
Friday from 14:00 till late. Saturday from 11 am till late.
Tickets on Friday and Saturday are available for general public including kids of all ages.

If the festival is postponed or cancelled your festival passes will automatically be honored at the rescheduled date. If the festival is canceled, 80% of the price of your festival pass will be refunded directly through our ticket vendors. We cannot verify the policies of any third-party ticket resellers.
The Friday and Saturday is for all ages. Anyone under 18 years old must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.
Kids 5 years old and younger get in for free, ages 6-17 need to buy a ticket at NAD50.
Yes. Limited tickets will be available at the gate, so make sure to get yours in advance.
The safety of our guests and artists is a top priority for us. In accordance with local guidelines, there will be no vaccination, testing or masking requirements at Oktoberfest. There will be sanitizer stations at the event but we also encourage festies to bringing their own hand sanitizer and washing your hands regularly.
We are a cashless event. At the Festival you can only pay for drinks, food and any other product by the Howler cashless system. You can top up your cards balance at designated points (with cash or debit/credit card).
You can buy a card at the event (with refundable deposit NAD20) and top it up with cash or card at the top-up stations. If any funds are left on the card, you can cash out on-site or after the event.
We encourage all our guests to use taxi services i.e. LEFA for transportation to and from the event as we have a special taxi drop-off area. If you do decide to come with a car, we have a designated area but parking is limited and works on a first come bases.
We have a dedicated kiddie’s area that includes several jumping castles, sand painting, TV’s with dedicated kiddies programs and other entertainment.
Food ranges from traditional food stall like Weisswurt with brezel & Sweet Mustard to more contemporary dishes like pizzas and burgers. We screen all food vendors to ensure top quality and a variety for all tummies.
There is a dedicated medical area with paramedics on standby at the event.
Yes. Our merchandise store will be selling souvenir items.
It is strictly forbidden to bring in glassware, clubs, cutting or stabbing objects, drugs, alcohol, or other objects that could endanger the physical safety of others, or objects that are dangerous to public safety as defined by the legislation in force. Such products must be handed over to the security service for inspection at the entrance.
